RINGO is built on a simple philosophy: writing requires solitude, but stories deserve an audience. Draft in the quiet of Workspace; resonate in the halls of Resonance.
Philosophy
The Art of the Text
We believe that tools shape thoughts. RINGO is designed to disappear, leaving only you and the essence of your story.
Highlight
The Blank Canvas
Pure silence for your thoughts. We removed the noise so only you and the cursor remain.
Highlight
The Invisible Muse
A partner that waits in the margins, speaking only to amplify your own voice.
Highlight
Fluid Structure
Blocks as fluid as thought. Reshape your story without ever fighting the medium.
Highlight
The Gallery
Where solitude ends. A quiet hall for chapters to find the eyes that need them.

Your drafts are saved to the cloud, encrypted at rest, and protected by Cloudflare’s infrastructure. I built this to be a sanctuary, so I treat your data security with the same paranoia I treat my own.

Is RINGO free?
Currently, yes. We are in a Public Test phase where my priority is polishing the UX, not making money. You can use echooo (the built-in writing AI) for free (subject to a generous 5-hour window quota to keep the servers from melting).

Am I locked in?
Never. Your words belong to you. You can export to Markdown at any time. Whether you want to move to Obsidian, VS Code, or just keep a local backup, the door is always open.

Is this like Notion? Do I need to learn 「blocks」?
It’s block-based, but not that kind of block-based. No databases, no kanban boards, no complexity. I designed a simplified block system solely for writing—so you can rearrange paragraphs easily without fighting the UI.

Can I use it offline or on multiple devices?
RINGO is currently a web-only experience, so you’ll need an internet connection to write. The upside is that your library syncs automatically—log in from your laptop, desktop, or tablet, and your drafts are always right there.

Which model do you recommend?
I personally recommend Gemini 2.5 or 3 Flash. In my experience, it simply performs the best within RINGO (Writing with echooo)—it feels snappy and natural. Gemini 3 Pro is undeniably powerful, but it is significantly more expensive. Flash is the sweet spot.
